Hayden Conrad, Saxophone
High School Junior Hayden Conrad is in his first year with the orchestra this year.
Hayden has been studying jazz saxophone for 6 years, first as a member of Portland’s Sellwood Middle School Jazz Band where he played tenor and soprano saxophone.
For the past three years, he has been a member of Portland’s Cleveland High School Jazz 1 band and has competed in numerous jazz festivals in Oregon and Washington with the Cleveland Jazz 1 Band.
Hayden also has been a frequent attendee at the Mel Brown Summer Jazz Camp held each year at Western Oregon University.
Hayden has studied saxophone with Barbette Falk.
